My neck is in pain! Help!

One of the most common phrases I hear is “I have pain in my whole neck” Not just the front, not just the back, but the sides and ends too! How is this possible? How is one neck responsible for so much discomfort? Well..

Neck pain is a broad term for all kinds of potential conditions, when most people refer to neck pain, what they really mean is, it hurts them to move their head in certain directions. This is because when one side of your neck moves in a certain direction, the opposite side must stretch and allow the movement to occur otherwise you get pain and cramping!

In our society it is very common to have a job where you have your neck in one position for extended periods of time (Desk workers am I right) what this does is shorten a large portion of muscle and tissue around the anterior part of the neck and in some cases around the posterior also if the shoulders are fully rounded in also.

When you come in for a treatment at CloudForm, I’ll be able to tell almost immediately if you have anything going on which is making your neck scrunch up and feel worse. It’s a very common condition to see and I deal with it day in day out like bread and butter. If you need it, I’ll release your chest and front side of the neck length wise and then alleviate the alternate tension on the back of the neck. You better believe I’ll give you some postural cues to work on though! I don’t want you going back to your job with the same pains. It’s something you have to work on. You got into that state, and now, together, we’re going to pull you out of it.

For all of your neck pain related needs, come in for a Remedial Massage @ CloudForm and you will get all of that pain and tension reduced in no time.
